No, the auto-equip in my UI isn't even close to being in the same location. It's about 40x40 in size and in a completely different position.fryfrog wrote:After looking around, it looks like the good old "ts.mac" is back to being the best one. I think it should work out of the box.
Yeah, the custom UI is gonna cause some issues... but really the only thing that needs to be "default" is the actual bags and combiners. The inventory probably just needs to have the auto-equip in approx the same location.

Huh, what rock was I sleeping under to miss that /autoinv. I tested it and sure enough, it will drop items in autoinv without the inventory window being open.MacroFiend wrote:I hate trying to click the auto-equip slot on any UI ... so as soon as it came out that SOE had added the /autoinv command, I switched my /click left auto to /autoinv. It doesn't even require the inventory window to be open.

They didn't announce it. I read about it on a message board (probably one of these) and tried it out. It's a native EQ command, so my guess is that someone either did a /help and saw it ... or looked at the raw EXE and found it in there.Wassup wrote: Huh, what rock was I sleeping under to miss that /autoinv. I'm going to modify my macro's to use this also.

No, I meant what I said, dev or not. It's infanatly harder for anyone to figure out whats goind wrong, and for him in turn to learn whats going wrong, with posts such as "someone post a working one" when there ARE working ones out there for him to test with. His post just after that was exactly the kind of post I was urging him to make, and I doubt anyone would dissagree that it was a much better "help me help myself" post then his previous ones.Wassup wrote: Next time I would think before replying to one of the devs in such a manner.
For all the work they do I wouldn't think giving them some help when they need it is too much to ask.
Too bad you missed his flame... which I agreed with by the way.insanitywiz wrote: No, I meant what I said, dev or not. Never said I did know anything about you, and to be honest, I am glad I don't. If you blow up and get all huffy and defensive because I have a different opinion than yours, then you have a problem.insanitywiz wrote:I give when I have something to contribute, and I don't just beg for people to make me a macro that works. I give it a shot and see what I can come up with, and then I post what I have and see if I can get help on THAT.
And I'll pretty much guarantee that very VERY few people have donated as much I have to the project, before Plaz ever got burned out and quit for awhile. So, in short, you don’t know a damn thing about me.
