There is a way you can help.... Donate. It shows the devs that there is still interest. I should be able to donate this evening(have to talk to my financial advisor). This isnt me saying you have to donate to have it fixed but it is a good insentive(did I spell that right?) for it to get fixed and posted.

Thanks for the reply Lax. I understand where you're coming from, and how annoying people can be. I have't bothered posting prior to today, because I've been able to find most of the answers to my questions, and I have little desire to be ridiculed on a message board. However, after repeated searches through the forums and the wiki led invariably to broken links when I attemted to find information on how to determine off-sets myself, it was incredibly discouraging to finally read today that not was all that information intentionally removed, it was removed with the express desire to lower the popularity of MQ2.
Man, that's frustrating. To do exactly what you've asked newbs to do, and find that the reason you are unsuccessful is due to an intentional removal of information.

Yeah, most people have the "it's okay to warp, as long as I'm the only one who can do it" mentality. Cheating is fine as long as nobody else is (or if I'm turning a profit

). Just gotta tough it out.

Actuly I find its more of a trust thing. I would give any plugin I use to most of my friends as I trust them to use it responsably. Well not any of my friends, but a good portion of them.

Some of the plugins actually available cannot be used responsably at all, since they re made to allow you to accomplish things witch cannot be called responsable at all.

It depends on how you define responsibly, really. It could be argued that no form of cheating is responsible. I do agree that there are some things out there (nothing that I posess, certainely) that cannot be used in any way that would be considered responsible.

Looks like they broke spell casting fury line totaly. With SCF FoM FoMM all maxed i did 0 crit with 100 nukes.
Some friend tested it in noob zone using pbae, result 200 ish mob dead 2 crit landed witch is the natural wizard crit rate at lvl 10, so i dont know it it s eqgame related but if so, a new one ll be needed to fix this major issue.

Thats funny, my cleric was critting like crazy last night. Poor spiders never new what hit them......
Anyway, is there a method, or a person to talk to about becoming, or helping out the dev's? I figure if I were to be a reserve, or secondary dev, you could pass along some small things the dev's may not have time for, or havent gotten to yet and if I fix it first great, and if I dont, oh well, you would have done it yourself anyway.
I'm an old C programmer, so I'm more comfortable with your plugins then I am with the scripting language. Oh and I plan to get the perl plugin up and working, but havent really taken the time to dig into it yet, any pointers?
Yall stay cool!

Thats true. Though I did not want to double an effort, nor do I want to submit code to a blank wall. I think i'd be better if I knew what the dev's wanted before I start going off in my own direction, which may or may not be what people want.
Anyway just an idea, now that I'm lab manager at work I have a bit more time to play with code LOL. Funny how it works that way.

If you can search a wiki, you can search the web.
