Just a word of thanks gimp, awesome UI. :)

First of all Thank for all teh good work done.

When i first started useing Krust my "Fabled Shrunken Goblin Skull Earring" & "Fabled Journeyman's Boots" would automaticky get took out of bag put in slot & clicked, but not any more since 2 or 3 of the updates too krust. could my haveing um now "Augmented" make a difrence. all so since then i have a few other items that i would like to get automaticly clicked on too "Fearsome shield" & "Bracer of the hidden". i have tryed puting um in the "gimp_clickies.inc" but have broke it each & evry time. i would like to get some code to Copy & past or maby the items get added in too "gimp_clickies.inc" for the next relese. please let me know eather way, Thank you vary much

current mq2 and krust dont go along very well.
cant really cross check that those items click properly at the moment, but i'll look into it, i got fab jboots, fab gob ring and bracer of the hidden so i can verify they work.
a few releases ago i changed some of the variable names in the INI file wich might be your problem (i know i should never have changed them...)

fearsome shield is not supported atm but i can easily add, bracer of the hidden is already there. for this to work your ini should look like this *cross fingers*:

[playername]
;automatically click your best attack buff clicky (goblin earring):
useClickyAttack=1
;to refresh jboots/fabled jboots:
ClickyJboots=1
;to refresh bracer of the hidden:
ClickyBracerOfTheHidden=1

IMPORTANT!!!!!

For jboots to autorefresh, krust needs to know that you are in a outdoor zone. see krust.ini.sample and copy the whole [ZoneInfo] section into your krust.ini file (overwrite your old data, especially if you have used the same krust.ini for some time, this section probably misses alot of entries)
the file looks like this:

[ZoneInfo]
Provinggrounds_Outdoors=1
Provinggrounds_Levitate=0
Provinggrounds_NoMount=1

upon discovering new zones, krust automatically adds new entries. it tries to figure out what is allowed in the new zone by checking your current buffs but in many cases it have no idea and just add ???, like this:

Anguish_Outdoors=???
Anguish_Levitate=1

then you have to edit it manually. krust currently ignores the _NoMount flag. but _Levitate is used to see if you miss DMF buff or not (plane of time and such).

I usually add new entries to this section in every krust release since its still not a complete list of zone info but its getting better.

hope this works, else please post again. i'll look into adding Fearsome Shield to next version aswell.

With MQ2 running and Krust loaded I crash to desktop when casting a spell. I do not crash to destkop with Krust unless I have the new MQ2 running. I do not crash to desktop with the default UI and MQ2 running. I'm leaning towards the spell casting popup window.

I'm a real newb when it comes to UI coding atm.

I believe this issue falls under "current mq2 and krust dont go along very well."

Just a bug report type thing. I'm sure it was quickly noticed.

I just went into my krust directory and renamed EQUI_CastingWindow.xml.

This breaks the nice casting window which shows the cast time. However it is a workaround.



On a side note. Gimp, I haven't loaded any of my plugins or macro's or anything.. Just a new clean .zip and krust. I've got a huge smile on my face and I'm happy. I'll do the rest of my MQ install later. I'm just happy to have my UI back. Thanks man.

Thanks to all of the devs too for putting out a new MQ2zip.

ionsf: cool :) i been running default UI myself all day because of that same problem.
but some more stuff is broken that dont make the krust macro work properly currently. buff request handling crashes somewhere, type /buffrequests to inactivate it temporarley.
also, the clickies refresh is broken, because of /itemnotify not working properly i think, type /clickies to turn it off.

i have a pretty big update of the krust macro on my harddrive and i have the updated UI for DoD aswell, just holding on to it a little more until i can verify it's all working as intended before i upload

Ahh cool. I don't use those much. I had just started using the macro when they patched.. I love the macro. I love the status/friends window. I run this mac all the time now for groups/raids.


I tried adding a few things my self I wanted to check my pet for 2 buffs and have a "Pet Buffs: OK" line. Never got it working. I plan to give it another go with the new version.


I plan to use auto refresh for clickies soon.

EQUI_HotButtonWnd.xml: made compatible with DoDh, hotkey bar 2-4 works
EQUI_Inventory.xml: made compatible with DoDh, shows evolving items & shroud progression tabs
EQUI_CastingWindow.xml: shows ${Me.Casting.CastTime} for now, since ${Me.Casting.MyCastTime} crashes MQ. this is a temporarly fix

I added Fearsome Shield now. just activate it with

useClickyAttack=1 in your INI.

also, i verified Bracer of the Hidden, Fabled Journeyman's Boots and Fabled Shrunken Goblin Skull Earring is indeed working properly, see my earlier post about it and please tell me if you got it working or not.
