boxed bard yes MQ2 makes it hard to playwithout. But if your ONLY playing a bard, it would be much more efficient without MQ2 if your a raiding bard.

Even on raids you're going to be twisting stuff for your group, and twist >> melody, having to start over when you miss a note is a pain, especially if you're in the middle. Either you start from begining and lose a few songs or make a macro to start in different spots, which is a lot more hotkeys than I need. Twist keeps you going with a missed note, replays the song you missed instantly and keeps moving.

I'll be the first to admit that I am now a hard core MQ2 addict. I played EQ the old fashioned way, totaly ignorant of the existance of MQ for 4 years lol....now, after 6 months or so running MQ I just dont enjoy playing without it. Can a person run a 4 box with no MQ...sure you can, but why? This utility takes a lot of the aggrevation out of EQ.
If you use this program and have never contributed to the Devs....well, I dont know what to say to you. I'm not the top contributor to the project by any means, mainly because im broke all the time =P but I have donated what I can, and will continue to do so. I encourage anyone who uses MQ on an ongoing baisis to do the same.

I've looked everywhere, and I still can't find anywhere aside from this thread where it's mentioned that MQ2 will not be updated anymore. Could someone point it out to me?

It is not mentioned....
It is implied in the original post that if you dont donate the Dev's that work on MQ may decide one day to not work on MQ anymore.... Suggesting that you SHOULD donate to give them more incentive to work on MQ.

ummm try reading the POST instead of just the title?
Scary thought isn't it.... Isn't it about time to redonate some more Pp to the Devs? This is not a single effort software package, every time there is a patch the devs have to fix it, not only do they fix it, they also provide upgrades. If you find this as invaluable as I do ( I hardly can play my bard with out because I 2 box) then chip in again for all their efforts.

It's a request for well deserved donations with a title that would make sure everyone would at least LOOK at it, not an announcement.

I read the entire post word for word. I'm new to the forums, and haven't even tried MQ yet since it was broken on patch day, so it just kinda confused me. No need try and point out what you think I failed to do (ummm try reading the POST instead of just the title?)
