and same here unloaded mq2fps and now able to alt tab at will with no probs.

No, using .net 2003 here, and will try this without MQ2FPS. I do use that plug-in.

Another confirmation that removing mq2fps fixes this issue for me.

yes, recompiled it as always and it doesn't work.

Same here, always do a full solution clean/build any time I touch source code unless it's just one plugin I'm tinkering with.
Unloading mq2fps does stop this from happening. I can live with out it, but next time I box I'm gonna cry.

I did experience this same problem last night, but today I was playing, and decided to see if it would happen again, and it didn't. Seems to be random for me.
