If they didn't fix this issue with DO NOT USE:
After patching, couldn't you just go into your UI folder and rename/move/delete the EQUI_ShortDurationBuffWindow and then just use the bypass patcher routine (rename the EQ shortcut to the \eqgame.exe" patchme) so it will not add it again? This way it won't be on your screen at all.....or was there a way to turn the window off in-game? lol.
Of course if you need/use the short duration buff window you wouldn't want to do this.

what i wanna know is, how did you manage to get almost every buff with a 399 minute duration rofl

guildhall only "stops" bufftimers, it doesnt increase them to 400 minutes

Yes, I just put those there to be able to display to people what the UI window would look like. Is just cosmetic, and I was too lazy to go off bumming any more buffs. :-)

love this medium sized one, but i cant get it to work with frequency somehow. if i try to put in the 20 slot BW and the 6 SDBW it keeps taking me to default UI /boggle
Anyone know what im doing wrong?
