Container/Combine name problem

Post by Cartman » Sun Oct 27, 2002 11:52 pm

Since about 2 weeks ago, I've been having problems with certain inventory containers and environmental combiners not being recognized by MQ. They were working fine and now they don't. I have updated my offsets 3 times, on 10-23, 10-25, and today with the daylight savings update - nothing has fixed it.

For the environmental combines, /itemtarget forge, /itemtarget brew barrel, /itemtarget brew, and /itemtarget oven all do not work. I get the message that it wasn't found and the macro shuts down. This happens whether I have it open or not when the macro starts.

For inventory containers, the jeweler's kit & tailor also don't work when I run the combine.mac that was posted here. (the fletching works still with "fletching"). I use the command /macro combine (containername) "item1" "item2", etc. The containername is what I'm having a problem with. The line in the combine.mac is

/call FindCombiner $p0

and I've tried jeweler, jewelers, jewelry, jewelcraft, and tailor, tailoring and all make the macro shut down. Does anyone have a complete list of the names of the containers so I can see if it's the names I have wrong or the command that is messing it up? Any help is appreciated, as these were all working fine until the last patch just before PoP. Thanks

In the latest beta there is a list of all the containers in the readme. Oh and they broke MQ 2 weeks ago, it doesn't work with the latest release. You need to download the beta if you haven't.

Having the same problem using several macros trying to do some Smithing. No matter what I do the /itemtarget command will do work properly.

I have tried downloading the newest beta and have all the current offsets. What else can i try?

alchemy

Ok, so im new to this... been working MQ for only a few weeks, working with the combine macro. Im trying to learn the language... I know to use the old UI, and to stay at the keyboard :)
With that said, here we go...

In alchemy i have a problem when combineing 3 components. The component sticks on the cursor, its not always the same component, it cant be a lag thing, possibly add a delay somewhere?

EDIT: upon further inspection, with the alchemy it is only with components that have similar names, ie. "wolf blood" will pick up either "wolf blood" or "blood of the wolf" how do i make it so it will only recognize exact names instead of similar? Is it possible to do with the Combine.mac?

if you look in combine.mac at the following lines.

Code: Select all

   :MakeItem
      /sendkey down ctrl

      /finditem similar "$p1"
      /if $find()==FALSE /goto :Done
      /click left $v20 0

      /finditem similar "$p2"
      /if $find()==FALSE /goto :Done
      /click left $v20 1

      /if "$p3"=="" /goto :Combine
      /finditem similar "$p3"
      /if $find()==FALSE /goto :Done
      /click left $v20 2
notice after /finditem it says similar, that is what makes it match the closest name. You coul edit it and take out the similar statements and force it to be an exact match.
