Cleric Macro, when someone has time...

Post by PhoenixZorn » Wed Sep 29, 2004 5:11 pm

While I'll likely have my epic by the time this is all done, I'd love for someone to create a macro that camps the specific "Soloable" placeholders and Epic Mobs for the cleric epic. Hunter.mac is far too general to be able to camp the specific locs where the place holders sit. I would love to do it myself, but my business and my kid's sports give me about an hour of computer time a day.

Basically, I'd like the macro to work like the Automated Tradeskill Macros, with specific locs for PHers, Pacify any surrounding mobs, pull the PHer to a specific location away from other mobs that may agro or heal the target, root, nuke, and attack, and then move back to the spawn location to await the next spawn. When the Named mob pops, do the same as above, but loot the specific item that is supposed to drop, and move on to the next mob (or do the turn-in and finish each part of the quest in sequence.) I'd likely include this macro, and any other class specific "Trivial Epic Mob" hunters in the upcomming macro release in the zip.

Are you talking Epic 1.0 or the new OoW Epic 1.5?

Epic 1.0... I figure if you are going for 1.5 or 2.0, you should definitely do the fighing yourself, since none of it really is trivial. What I want is the ability to set it and forget it on the insanely long camps for very rare spawns that have taken up to and over 30 hours for a single kill.

And the shards in Skyfire?

peach: omfgnoitsnotanafkmacro ... I'll still be sitting here watching, or my room mate will be, I just despise doing the camps... besides... every hunter macro on this site can easily be made into an afk macro (or already is one as is) by changing a few lines or adding a few lines.

I've camped a Mage Epic, Bard Epic, and now am working on my cleric epic... it's getting redundant, and very boring... it makes me not want to play at all. I've been in SolA for over 12 hours play time trying to get Lord Gimblox to spawn, killed the King about 5 times, and countless wandering gobbies, and have yet to see Gimblox.

I R fucking hate teh camping.

As the Macro Czar you should know the answer to this one: if you want an afk macro, write it yourself. ;)

again... I don't want an afk macro... I want a macro that requires some sort of input from the user, but kills placeholders all day while I do something productive... oh fuck it... it's an afk macro... I'll write the damn thing.

Just noticed that the more posts a member has here the more arrogant they are in responses, and not seeing a whole lot of anything productive from those arrogant responders either.
Oh wait, you got all that status to hill giant from those posts, i see. So your not a productive poster with answers, you just naturally have a broom stuck in the rectum. Then sweep the floor while you run to post another flame.

man if you people are worried about having an afk macro then you got some serious problems since just having MQ2 running already goes against the Everquest EULA..... and Oid why even post anything if you dont do "anything for anyone here......"?

the hunter.mac can work pretty well with some additions like a leash and what not.
