Omens of War - Odd Hidden Spawns

Post by OBCENEIKON » Wed Sep 15, 2004 1:58 pm

I was fighting in Walls of Slaughter today, and noticed there were three other places on the map that had my name listed as the spawn. They were white which made them seem as ground spawns...Also when I right clicked one it crashed my game. Anyone have any clue as to what causes these spawns that have my name?

Is this an error in mq2map or possible something SOE has done?

Yes, SOE has placed "dummy" spawns of every single player in every zone, to fool MQ2ers into clicking on them and crashing.

This is a borderline Bunny-able post.

It is, however, explained in my comprehensive list of common Q and A type things. That post can be found here, 4th post down...

Aye I agree - I have, however, compiled a large selection of other graphical oddities that would greatly explain some of the posters here, and will unleash them bit by bit as I get the time to upload them all to my hosting hehe
