Hello,
Let me start off by saying, I am completely oblivious to XML code and how the UI interface of EverQuest works, so at least don't burn me alive. Now, I have a horrid memory and always forget to turn off my tribute buffs or forget to turn them on. So i have been trying to keep the Tribute window open and just blend it in with my UI, works pretty well except for one thing. It disappears when i hit the 'Escape' key. Which is a problem because that’s how i get out of nearly everything! So my question to you is, can you make any window locked, such as the spell bars, target windows, chat windows etc. or is it coded by EverQuest which has those capabilities? Any information would be quite helpful, thank you!

Thank you for the reply, although that’s not exactly what I was asking. Let me clarify, I already have my tribute window In a fine spot, transparent right above my spell buff area, All I want to know Is If there Is code I can Insert Into the XML file somewhere or something I can activate that will make It so when I hit escape the window will not disappear. Thank you again!

No there isnt anything you can add to make esc not close your tribute window. You answer is on one of those links. its beacuse of the type of window it is and you cant change it.

Maybe post this in the plugin suggestions forum. I am sure its feasable to check if the tribute window is open every pulse and open it if it isnt. Not a C coder myself and I dont have LDoN or GoD or id give it a go.

There must be a way, I have not turned off the timer that comes up when you log off, and since adding MQ2 I have not been able to close it with ESC, I must click close.
Fuck writing MQ2 macros. Go with IS scripts; IS Rules!

Hehe I borrowed it off him a couple of days after he started to use it and used it ever since. Course I only just came back to play EQ and was pleasantly surprised to find MQ2 :) luckily my account here was still in effect :)

While I’m asking stupid questions, is there any way someone can tell me how to use multiple HUD's? Not on one character of course, but for different characters. I really don’t like having my cleric's AA ready abilities showing up on my monk! I'm sure this has been asked before but I was unable to find anything about it in the search area, maybe I’m just stupid, who knows. But if someone could get that info for me,

Not trying to flame, but you Really do need to read TFM a little before asking.
Provides additional functionality to the HUD included with MQ2. It allows you to add additional elements. Every element gets parsed for MQ2Data each time it is displayed.
The additional fuctionality is added via the use of an ini file.
MQ2HUD allows for different HUDs. Each different HUD is stored in MQ2HUD.ini but in different sections.
The default HUD is [Elements]. To load a different HUD, the command is /loadhud name (not case sensitive)
Example
/loadhud bard
In this case, the [bard] section in MQ2HUD.ini could also be [BARD]
The command to load the default HUD specifically is /defaulthud

Thank you for the info, I'm at work right now so just trolling the boards. Moderately hard to read update info when you can't install the program at work! :)
