It's about time, I hope they get this taken care of so things can go back to normal. Idiots are crowded around merchants afk 24/7

This BS has brought way too much attention to MQ.
This new MOTD will probably give the abusers more reason to use it since the end is near and they just don't seem to care.

Well this is nothing new 3rd party programs have been against there polices since the start.
And i remember a similer message years ago.
I dont belive that they can stop it besides scare and remind people that what there doing can get them banded.
And staking out all the venders.

Like my grandpa said locks only keep honest people from stealing.
So this messeage will do nothing to those "smurf hut builders"<heh I belive thats what you all call them heh>

I do hope that people cut it out and let things cool down before MQ gets totaly nurfed out. That is if they even can.

Sorry but i cant feel bad for these people they have no brians if they still do this after the motd went up.

I hope they do get all banded then maybe game wont be so crowded.

They seemed to have but in code to only allow the merchants to sell to one person at a time now :)

Actually im going to presume that it'll take a couple weeks before anyone gets a response if they are just using MQ basically (as in not doing any uber plat schemes).

I have this bad feeling im gonna at least get a notice..not sure why tho..just a precognitative feeling..or whatever the word is heheh

Keep one thing in mind! Anything that makes the game take less than for EVER to get through is technically against the EULA. I am surprised they havent made it impossible to cast all spells on players lower than those players who can group with you and still get experience. As a matter of fact I think they should. They should do that, and make it so that only people who are grouped with 6 others in the same exp range will get any exp at all. And no two of the same class should be allowed, and no solo classes, and no looting with split off. And no value to any looted item cause they are all no drop, and you cant kill a mob that has an item in inventory that is equipped by anyone in the group that is attacking, and while they are at it they might as well put a random number combination on the ability to use vendors.. say a 3 digit code that changes every try into a vendor so that you can only trade 1 of 1000 tries. Or better yet, they should do something useful with the money they are getting from us and put it into programming vendors to keep track of inventory and reduce prices based upon supply and demand. That would only take what a 4th grader to program, so why the heck dont they? Oh thats right they used to do that at one point... hmmmm.

Okay, so most of the above is pointless, but so is whining about losing your ability to play a game where you pay a monthly access fee. If you cheat, the owner of the forum has the right to kick you out.

Play by the rules or cheat. Just don't whine.

Just to post a few things that have happened to a friend. He was macroing in qeynos the first time he got caught. Someone ratted him out in a GM channel and another someone zoned into qeynos and gave everyone a heads up in ooc. Unfortunately the macro wasn't watching that channel. GM told him you are being warned for using pathing hack. My friend was fletching so I don't know where he got that from but GM ripped off 20k from body and another 20k in bank he had and told him not to do it again. Few days later hes in Halas back at it. No warning this time no tell from GM just a straight revert to an old version of his character. He stripped all his money took his charisma cups and took his fletching skill back to 0. Good thing these are alts its kinda amusing.

As far as what they can do to stop it, just change the prices of the arrow parts and cheese. Zero code change. Who gives a crap if someone can make 3000 arrows in 40 seconds the real concern is profit here. Now to find that next recipe they dont know about hmmm...
