Ok...

I got mq2 up and running no prob... even did the how to on building my own macros and what not...

My problem is 2 fold and i would appreciate any and all help with it.

I have been trying to get the follow.mac to run right as it is from the download. i get the following error in game..

"Failed to parse /if command. Could not find command to execute."

My second problem is I actually was stupid and paid for xylobot (yea dumb me i know) and i liked the way it worked for me for botting. I have seen a few bot plugins/macros etc here on teh boards but i am severely unsure of how to set them up in the folders for mq2 that i have set up. i know that a .mac is a macro. .ini = config files but how/where/what do i see the commands for in game or setting them up via command line i game. I run a 4 pc set up with bardand pet class on main pc, druid on pc#2, chanter on laptop and clericand pet class on pc #3.

With Xylobot the druid and chanter could be botted 100% due to hotkeys from the primary pc. I was told that Mq can run them totally indepedant. I do not know if this is true or not. I would like to set up something to automate as much as possible so that when i 6 box i can enjoy

I will take any and all help possible and I look foreward to doing what i can do.

I have vs.net 2003. Not sure what other inromation is needed.

You need to read more. All the files for the macros go in your macro folder unless you want to put ini's in the ini folder. Any macro that requires more than a monkey pushing a button has descriptions on how to use it in the macro itself.

ok first one

is almost certainly an old macro, the way macros run was changed recently and alot of old macros wont run, you need to be looking in HERE, second in the same folder you will find advbot.mac and genbot both enable you to run multiple characters, now

if you look at the quote above the full macro's and inc's are posted with the names at the top (Mostly) you will need to create the file names and paste the content into them and place them in your MACROS folder in RELEASE. i would recommend reading the WHOLE thread and looking to see if any patches or ammendments have been made and paste them accordingly. But as Preocts says all the info you require is on the boards, when you first read them you will see alot of people saying RTFM, its said because alot of posts are because people dont read the whole board when they start, i know its alot but you can gain a vast amount of info by starting at the top and reading EVERY "STICKY" in every section, THEN ask a question if you get stuck.
