I donated because after the last patch, I realized I had no desire to play EQ until MQ was active again. 8)

Going to learn how to help with the opcodes for the next patch

/INC Grant... Kill him for lewt.

Between th goD patch and the 2/10/04 patch it is well deserved

I just want to thank all the devs and contributors of MQ2. This includes Plaz for /click and for EQtype9999, Lax for /mapfilter, Amadeus and others for there work on offsets, and the developer of /target. As well all the other devs. MQ and MQ2 has made EQ less painfull and more fun. Thanks guys.

/mapfilter was plazmic's ;) You can thank me for MQ2 and plugins, the fps/cpu limiter, the newer telnet server code, item display, chat window, all custom windows, /keypress, spawn api, benchmarks, ... and you can thank me for adding hundreds of offsets to eqgame.h for the sole reasons of slowing people down and pissing them off :)

I've been using MQ2 for um, almost 3 months. And after the last few changes and improvements my g/f and I decided that a donation was called for.

Gawds, if we can afford to buy some game plat, we can afford to contribute to a program that's VASTLY improved our enjoyment of the game!

Thanks VERY much for MQ, and keep up the good work!

I donated twice so far, just in the hopes that someone could help me solve the age-old question that's been hung like a tethered weight around my rank.

*edit* corrected typo/mistake type thing

Hey folks,
I'm actually looking to donate, lord knows I've used Macroquest plenty, and even given the project some time in terms on macro's, But I know I haven't put in the time or the dedication that the Dev's have. Besides macro have like 1/16th the whiners that the core app does :)

Couple of things, once I descided to donate it took me a few minutes to actually find the thread for donating, it wasn't anywhere I expected it - i.e. Home page or in the links at the top of the forms - I'm wondering how many users actually don't even know that donations are an option. Second in the first post it's not clear which link to use for the donation. There is a donate to L124RD that he states he'll distribute, there's a donate to dev's where L124RD is again listed and then there's a donate to MQ as a paypal biz, I was gonna use the Paypal biz link but then there is a comment later down in the thread that the lower link is for old development.
Could the first post be cleared up, with the most preffered method at the very top of the post and whatever other links listed below that with a clear indication where the donation goes for each link?

Yes, Lax is the one to thank and pay for most everything nowadays ...and Plazmic for doing it in the first place.

I'm only here for when they're missing in action. I'm like the contingency dev ..hahaha.

Just donated 10$. I may have only been using MQ2 for a few days, but the time and energy it has saved my clicking finger is worth it ;). Thanks for all the hard work guys!

Does L124RD actually distribute the funds?

Post by javelinl » Thu Apr 29, 2004 10:58 am

Reading the posts makes me a bit nervous. I sent 100.00 on Mar. 12, 2004 via L124RD paypal account.

Did that get to the devs?
