Very odd problem..

Post by ChrisCim » Wed Apr 14, 2004 3:23 pm

Ok, after this patch, I downloaded today's source, compiled it fine. Didn't add any plugin's or anything like that. But as soon as I load into EQ, my keyboard is behaving a bit oddly. The left arrow key strafes right, right arrow key strafes left. Up turns right and down turns left. I unload MQ and keyboard fucntions normally. It's not really a big deal but it is kind of weird. I tried going into options and setting the keys up, but they already are. Anyone else getting this?

Yeah I just switched out the arrow keys and the num pad and everything seems to be working again.

I get this problem also. I keep hitting shift refresh on the download link, hoping for a new zip to dl

Resetting the keys in EQ didn't change anything...
Heh... and now Insert is acting like F9 did, and Delete is acting like F10.

Same. Tried remapping keys correctly and still have problems. Anybody got a fix?

I'm having similar problems, esc is jump, and, mid game while playing, spacebar changed from jump, to backwards movement.

Ok, remapping as Keypress works, alternates are fubar.

If your key is mapped as something's alternate, such as up arrow being alternate for move forward, it will not work properly.

Remapping it as the keypress (primary) inside of EQ's options window fixed the problem for me.

I have no "alternate" keys mapped, and I still have the problem of jumping, when I hit escape.

Heh I noticed the escape making me jump too and there's no alternate keys set up for it.

Yeah all of the same problems on my kbd, on both computers. and I like to use an old snippet follow.mac which I have modified for different macros I use. Needless to say those are not usable now LoL.
