Am attempting to modify the cheese.mac to include buying from multiple vendors in the same room. Then proceed to the brew barrel and combind.
What would be the best way to control the movement from say Vendor A & B, to Vendor C, then to a Brew Barrel. (Am attempting to do this in Halas) Vendor A and B can be targeted from same location and traded with behind the bar. Then a trip is required to the merchant along the wall selling water and one other item. Lastly need to execute a move to th brew barrel.
Thanks,
Boldor

So ya making skull ale in Halas are ya :-)
There is a script for walking a path in the Macro::Requests Forum I am sure, think its for picking groundspawn in Gfay. That will show ya how to walk along a route using GotoLoc.

This request IS NOT ABOUT SKULL ALE and making uber plat you stupid stupid people. The request was for assistance on getting a working macro created to prevent myself and other TRUE people seeking to increaae skill to GM Brewer, from getting corpal tunnel syndrome by doing sh$$t loads of buying at the store while only getting 1 skill up.
Please stop emailing me or posting to this thead if you are looking to get rich fast and not provide some constructive info.

Ok can move within a certain distance of Vendor A and Vendor B. Script then uses the /press U to open up trade window. If I am to far from the say Vendor A the /press u seems to fail.
Question: Do you have to be within a certain distance of the vendor for /press U to work properly, when I can physically right click and open up the trade window.
My hunch is that /press U has a shorter responce area than the right click on vendor.
What are my options inlieu of the /press u command to open up a vendor trade window?
/click left Merchant?
Thanks Boldor

Think I found my own fix.
/target <soso>
/click right target
will result in the trade window being opened up.

heres extract from my merchant script - same as readme.htm in the MQ distribution:
/target MERCHANT
/face fast
/delay 0
/doevents flush
/sendkey down shift
/click right target
have a good look at the readme.htm - it has a really good example macro for buying selling and combining using held combiner. as for a static combiner like a brew barrell, i never had to use one so not sure how best to change the default script. but...there are a few examples if u do a searc on brew barrel you should find what u need here...

Heres a more robust way to deal with merchants. it takes int account lag and wont continue until the merchant window opens.
Code: Select all
/target <merchant name>
/face
:OpenMerchant
/press u
/Delay 0
/if "$merchant"!="TRUE" /goto :OpenMerchant
