Mez Timer?

Post by Zak » Tue Mar 16, 2004 4:27 pm

How possible would it be to add a mez timer box that would list the duration on the mez spell that you cast? Since all of the mez line are fixed duration spells, it shouldn’t be to hard to figure out what the duration of each mez spell is, and when it is successfully cast how much time is left on it.
The only snag I can think of that would make it difficult would be keeping track of which mob it was last cast on. The solutions I can think of would be;
A.) To only keep track of the duration of the most recent mez cast. Or
B.) To keep track of the mez times on the last 5 mobs it was cast on. However option B would only work if it were possible to keep track of which mobs each mez was cast on. So if I mez mob 1, then mob 2, then wait 10 seconds to mez mob 3, then remez mob 1 then mez mob 4, then remez mob 2 then mez mob 5 it would automatically move mob 5 into slot 1 when mob 1 was killed, or the mez was broken by the tank.
How possible is this?

Could probably do it with some kind of a plugin that goes blah blah blah, oh wow that spell you just cast is one im supposed to time, checks the duration of it, goes yippie, says "Hey fucker, its over in 5 seconds' and gets no with its happy little life

Look at autodebuff.mac in the macro depot. You should be able to grab bits of code to do what you want.
