Allllllrighty, okiedokie i've searched the help forums.. well i'm gettingthis error by EQ starts up to the EULA screen, a little box saying

MACROQUEST

Wed Mar 10 01:47:xx 2004

i got the latest release pack from the website, coz i was too noobie to follow you guys when you where updating. i've gotten MQ2 to work on previous times b4 the latest patch. on previous times i do everything.. no errors all good.

well i change it to that. i also do telnet settings for router (ports21) not sure if needed. but i remember getting it working once.. i just don't know how!. could anyone please help me.
this is really annoying

please don't yell at me if this has been answered in previous Posts.. but i cannot find any. and i found one.. but that didn't help =/

Comparing there are differences.. i updated the Date on my Egame.ini file.. but no luck still get that fucking gay as message

when i first became a MQ2 user i had the exact same problem and my friend couldn't fingure it out.. i did everything to match his.. and his worked. (besides the Auth files logicaly), please help me.

eqgame.ini isnt used anymore. you need to change the date in eqgame.h before you compile. if the date in eqgame.h is only 1 hour off the date that pops up in the message box, change eqgame.h to the msg box one and recompile. if its a lot different, then download the zip, delete all the old files, and start again.

but eq likes to randomly Crash.. when i first log on as a char
log out. and log on to another

The date and time should match the date/time of your eqgame.exe file.

I am on AU time and have never had a problem with this.

I guess it depends on your state of residence.

If your on daylight saving still, this will cause a 1 hour diff to the US time.
