/em pets Mckorr.
It's alright, Helstar. Mckorr had a long day yesterday, and that was just a way for him to release some steam.
We're all really rather nice here, and we all do try to help the folks who are on these boards. But there is a downside to that, we help so many, so many times, that we start to get frustrated ourselves at the post-count of the same answers. So we get annoyed, and say "Use the search function", because we know if you do, you'll find your answer. Even if it means drudging through ten pages of one particular post to find the fix you were asking about.
Keep in mind that all of us are here to help one another, but if we've helped fifteen others with the same problem, we get angry, and lose our sanity.
So don't hold Mckorr responsible for his rant.. Although it was well said, and well meant, it came off in the wrong manner.
...........................
However.
Could someone NOT give me more links to read(i dont think there is anyting left to read) Pleas give us (me and the rest of the ones asking help) a step by step on just getting the macro to work.
That is enough to piss anyone off, including myself. I held back a nice rant, almost concurrent with Mckorr's on that one.
Here's some personal advice. If the fix has been posted more than once, you're going to have folks angry with you. If you don't read the instructions, you're going to have folks angry with you. If you skim over the twenty pages in the thread that the code has been posted in, and then bitch about the fact that you can't find the answer, you're going to have folks REALLY angry with you.
This is the last time I'll tell anyone to use the search function, because from now on I'm flaming each and every last one, until they actually DO RTFM and DO use Search/Read the entire posting.
Bloody hell. Now look what you made me do.
