BUG: MQChat window remaining after MQ Unloaded

Post by MacroFiend » Fri Oct 31, 2003 10:26 pm

This is a partial bug/partial feature request.

When you use the /unload command, the MQChat window remains behind with no way to close it. If you reload MQ, the MQChat window is created anew (so you have 2 windows).

In my copy, I added FreeChatWindow() inside my /unload command but I am not sure if that is the best place for it.

I've fixed this and some other stuff but waiting on dev cvs. the right place is here:

EQLib_Main.cpp in DWORD WINAPI InsertCommands(LPVOID lpParameter)

Code: Select all

    LoadString(ghInstance,IDS_UNLOADED,szBuffer,MAX_STRING);
    WriteChatBuffer(szBuffer,USERCOLOR_DEFAULT);
    DebugSpewAlways(szBuffer);
	FreeChatWindow();
