Someone shoot me, I've tried what I can! re: /finditem ...

Ok I've hunted the board and read about 20 threads on /finditem issues and have boiled it down to running EQWindows© and having the mouse not in focus of the EQ window also having the Inventory open prior to running scripts or issuing manual commands.

I currently dont have LDON if that means anything with regards to UI?

Anyway... to the point, the problem is that if I do a simple /finditem "Packet of Heady Kiola" (for example) - and I have a pack open with that item in it, it has no trouble finding it along with various other items it has no trouble locating, but! ...

If on the other hand I put a /finditem "Water Flask" or a "Bottle" in the same pack, /finditem then fails to click properly on either of them (it seems to jump of to a part of the screen that isnt the pack (light it is TRYING to find it but it clicking on the wrong part?).

I would love to get to be able to select on items using /finditems 100% as this program is a godsend! (Donation coming up when I suss this out! :)

Could anyone suggest what I should try and what video modes they use etc or if I am completely missing something with regards to positioning of backpack etc..???

Cheers!

Are you using the default UI? I know when we were fixing /click initially that custom UI's had a lot more problems than the default UI.

Hey Jaerin,

Thanks for reply,

Using the standard UI - also I've managed to get it working now!

What I did was - used normal eq (not eqwindows), rearranged the backpacks - and did like 5 cleanup's, strangely all of a sudden it was able to find everything..

I was amazed at how fast it does it!

Excellent!

Pickled, out of curiosity ... when you were /finditem "water flask" and had the pack open that contained water flasks ... did you have another closed pack that also had water flasks?
