Bug: /item ?

Post by Griemil » Wed Sep 10, 2003 5:54 pm

I have a couple of bugs that I've run into.

I'm using the CVS from this morning (9/10) and running EQW, compiled with VC++ 6.0)

/item doesn't work for me. Usually no big deal, but this inhibits performing combines in environmental containers like the brew barrel.

Also, /click only works for me when I've got the mouse released. I had read that this should work for both a released and unreleased mouse.

Wondering if anyone else is able to replicate this problem.

Thanks,
Griemil

P.S. Great job on this guys. Us lurkers need to hook you up with a website that distributes liquor so that instead of donating money so we can buy you a drink. Oh wait, that would slow down the number of updates we would get. Nevermind.

the item commands are borked cuz of an offset problem

the click thing only works with mouse released in EQW, or without EQW (either released or not)

I am having what sounds like a similar problem. I run a combine macro and it seems like my bags are too low. If I move the bags up after opening them and do not reset them then it works fine. It looks to me like the mouse is trying to go up to high.

I tried changing my bag slots by adding 2 and EQ just crashed to desktop. I tried it in the macro, instead of clicking slot one it did slot three, instead of two it did four. not quite sure whats wrong. IT was however acually picking up the items and dropping them on the ground after I closed the combiner.

I must have missed the offset problem in my search as well as misread the /click solution. Thanks.

BTW, I'm using the DrakahOrig UI and my mouse is going to the exact place it's supposed to. Using released mouse in EQW I have no problems whatsoever. If using an environmental container, it won't even find it and won't even try to move anything there, the macro just shuts down saying, "can't find brew barrel".

Sounds like a different problem you're having Waxxed.

The command for clicking on an environmental container is

/click left enviro 0

Where 0 is the slot number (slots 0-9).

Check and make sure you are using the correct command. Environmental container must be open first.
