Regarding Depends.mak

Hmm..the depends.mak i got from cvs doesnt seem to work, gives me an error stating there's a missing separator. I redownloaded it and got depends.mak.txt and changed it to that one and nmake eqlib worked up to the point where it searched for libraries from the detours folder, apparently somethings wrong with those also.

Now, i downloaded latest detours library (1.5 i believe) and still its giving me errors.

All taken from CVS via VisualCVS..any ideas what could be wrong? thanks!

Hey thanks DKIA, all the same, although that links me to the files, visualcvs doesnt seem to have an option of changing the settings you mentioned on that forum!

Yes, CVS is a pain in the ass, which is why I have been maintaining the zip file on the downloads page.

Hah, you have no excuse. CVS is easy for developers.

Try using the anonymous pserver. It really sucks (on top of all the trouble that CVS can cause).

Hmm, well ya that did make it quite easy

I have no trouble working the CVS anon server usually. Only this time, it sent it all fuxxed up (the files had those stupid return symbols instead of the actual return, etc).

I honestly dont mind a bit of a challenge, but couldnt figure out what was causing the error since i replaced allt he files it was having trouble with

One thing maybe you could do, is require peeps who want to use MQ for tradeskilling (but doesnt know anything about how to set it all up and stuff), is not give em the offset for something particular to that idea (such as mouseloc or something).

That way, only the people who actually know what they are doing can use it cuz they'd have to look it up themselves! The people that dont know what they are doing can learn off of what the others discuss and the SEARCH function (something i hate doing myself) and off of various offset examples/guides in these forums.

Worst part about the above suggestion is...I have trouble finding a lot of them myself so wouldnt be any better off then a lot of the people who dunno what they are doing lol (*shrugs*) oh well tho! thats the risk..besides i only use it for /who /face /follow etc
