Building a Chanter bot macro(need some tips from players)

Post by alcor75 » Mon May 26, 2003 7:10 am

Hello, I'm building a Chanter bot macro for mine twink, i can use some help from player who play chatr to tune up the slow/mez routine, what i need to know is, how you chose when to slow, or when to mez, and who to mez?
Problem is if i slow to fast, chanter get agro (easy solution /delay or check mob hp, any othr faster solution?)
How can i check what and how many mob are in fight and chose to mez those not engaged by MA? (would a set of array with the ids of the mobs that are in a certain radius from group/MA/controller, be a good way to know?)
What else e chanter do? debuff, buff mez then?(run? =P )

Tnx for your help, if i come close to somethink cool and working i'll post it.

How about simple use events for tells?

Trigger tells like "slow my target", "mezz my target", "speed please" and so on in your macro.
Then you only need some hotbuttons and all is done *grin*

All other would be AI stuff.
- How could chanter know if mob is not mezzable, or dotted
- Maybe mobs around who wouldn't engage (except chanter tries to mezz them.... arghh..)

It's simple to make an array with infos for each mob like mezzed, slowed, debuffed, mezztimer till mezz wears off normally and so on.
But as an example, if you have 4 same called mobs alround ("a frost giant savage") and ones mezzed mob is awakened, chanter bot can't find out which one.
