paypal sux!

Post by Xathullu » Mon Feb 14, 2011 9:31 am

Ive been trying to donate to the project but paypal is refusing to recognize my card's security code. I really want V.I.P. access because there is little to no real support for those of us who dont have V.I.P. access trying to figure out how to script this stuff . I'm not ignorant as to why I can't get that support and I'm willing to play to the sheep here but it does me no good if I dont have any wool for the shears. Anyone got any suggestions? "get another card" does not count and flames will only be laughed at. I'm only lookin for real talk here...

Have you contacted paypal support or your bank to see what the issue is?

I have. I never set a pin for my card and somehow paypal tries to match my card's security number to the non-existant pin... Issues arise.

I've never had paypal ask me for a pin, only the CVT code on the back of the card?

hes not saying paypal is asking for his pin, hes saying he never set up a pin number in the first place and some how its screwing up his ability to place an order because of it.

why its screwing up because of that is beyond me. thats comparing apples and oranges. one has nothing to do with the other and thats probably Olain point as well. something smells and it aint the fish.

Go to your bank and tell them you want to set a PIN for your card because you never set one up. I'm sure if you have all the info to show it's your account, you'll be able to do so.
