Simple PH killer macro?

Post by cheater » Sun Dec 07, 2008 1:36 pm

I know theres lots of hunter macros etc out there, but was hoping there would be something really simple

I just need a macro where I stand in same place like forexample the room in Plane of Hate where shiled fo immaculate drops and each time a PH pops and hits me, my char will stick on that mob and kill it

It doesnt have to loot the corpses, Ill be at the pc to loot before they poof, just want to be able to watch some TV while doing 20+ hour long camps like this and shield of striding

Something like ...check for target, if something on my target, stick and autoattack on. When dead, clear target and wait for next mob to pop and hit me

Would be simple to do I think?

Actually, we don't care. If you can write a macro that plays your char 100% without you all the power to ya. I think this is the holy grail of MQ2.
It is Sony that does not want you to macro a char afk. They seem to have no problems with you doing it when you are at the machine thou.

We do care. Any time you have macro running in a non-instanced zone and you are not at the keyboard, you are asking for trouble. The more trouble you cause, the more attention MQ gets. The more attention we get, the more difficult SoE makes our lives.

So, just say no to AFK macros.

I stand corrected.
Thou, I used to run this macro that would play my char for me as I chatted with my friends in game. I fell asleep on a raid once, woke up a few hours later, and noone noticed lol. It was just as the raid was ending.

Thus far, I haven't seen SOE have any stance on being AFK and letting mercs earn you experience. Box 2 or 3 characters, hire one or two tanks and a cleric merc - find a room they can hold, and go to bed. If you've got a bard you're boxing, even better.. just hit mana/heal song. Don't even need mq2 for that (nor would I suggest using it while afk). This was brought up on the SOE forums and as far as I saw, SOE never said anything about it.
