Dont_Know_At_All please read

Hi ... two questions when you have a sec :)

1. Could you look at the function that I posted at http://macroquest2.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1887 . I wanted to submit it, however, I have no idea how to create patches or submit code officially to the project using Windows based utilities..hehe. Just smack me if I'm a moron, but I'd like to help occassionally and have no idea how to submit code other than posting it.

2. Could you maybe, at some point, talk a bit about the new functions you've added and how you got around the detours problem...just basically speaking ..maybe a little outline of how the new functions are structured and what they do...and, if you're not terribly busy, what utility you used to determine all this ..hehe ..it's very intriguing!

Thanks

1. No. /whotarget gives the same information. eqlib.cpp is 12042 lines long. You can put it in your local version if you like.

2. All three memcheck routines follow the same format:

memcheck(buffer, n, key)

The memory from each n bytes in the buffer are combined with the key and an encryption table to produce a value which is returned to the server. Give the wrong answer, and the server drops the connection. Various buffer addresses are used to cover different functions with eqgame.exe

Would there be an interest in someone such as myself dividing EQLib.cpp into perhaps 3 files: MQ Command functions, Macroing specific functions, and Utility functions? Or, perhaps just two files, one for MQ commands (ie, custom / commands) and everything else?

I'll work on it this weekend for you. Will provide appropriate comments as well.
