for instillation it tells me to copy one file to another, does it want me to make a new file, or copy it to the other, becuase i can find the other one

Umm... no idea at all what you are talking about. You need to provide details on what you are confused about. What files, what instructions are confusing you, etc.

I don't think english is his/her first language (no contraction in "can" to be "can't") so I'll give it a shot.

It looks like you are refering to the main thread on how to compile and install MQ now that is it source.

Most of the files that need to be copied are not replacing anything. They will be new files in the destination directory. If the files does exist then rename the original before you do the copy.

I don't think any of the files existed before so just put them in the directory and you should be fine.
