Sigh...

You know, I really hate that lame-ass article on RPGExploit -- but not for the reason most people do. The MacroQuest community was once a place where you could learn from other people, as long as you adhered to the golden rule -- RTFM. This poster is obviously new to MQ, and yes, he probably came fr...

I finally did it.

I'm free. Gave all my droppables to my guild, sold my account, and deleted EQ. It just occured to me one night that EverQuest I'm playing right now isn't the same EverQuest I've had so much fun over the last years. It truly has lost the sense of non-linearity and freedom that was the reason EverQues...

A more efficient way of doing this, imo, would be to have an INI with the long zone names as sections, with the list of rare mobs under said sections. Then you wouldn't have to have a macro for every zone you visited, which is pretty inefficient.

It will go through the loop and /autoinventory until there's nothing left on the cursor.

How could macros from MQ2 help me with this particular problem? With a sophisticated enough macro, you can make it so that you won't need to switch to your other EQ windows to control what your bots do whatsoever. MacroQuest is, by far, a multi-boxer's best friend. (I just hope Sam Deathwalker does...

Now it'll never be fixed!

Make a new document class for syntax (*.syn) files, ensure that "Strip trailing spaces from lines when saving" is enabled, and resave. The problem is because there's a space after that line.

Updated with various improvements, but I'd recommend using Preoct's macro over this one.

Code: Select all

Sub Main
  :Loop
     /if (${Cursor.ID}) /multiline ; /autoi ; /goto :Loop
     /if (${Me.AbilityReady[Forage]}) /multiline ; /doability Forage ; /goto :Loop
/return
Less efficient, but less lines!

Also, for anyone who wanted a priority type thing, so that your first preference for kill is Mob 1, if there are no Mob_1s, then kill Mob_2, if there are no Mob_2s, kill Mob_3... etc... it's really a very simple change. Original code: /for RV_CurrentRadius 100 to ${RV_MaxRadius} step 100 /for RV_Tar...

First of all, thanks for sharing this wonderful macro! I've adapted it for my own purposes, and it works beautifully. There's one problem I've run into, however. With the KillAdds code, if you're attacked by a mob that's not at full health, it will detarget it, then target it, then detarget it... fo...

Beautiful!

Thank you for this macro -- simple, clean, and it complimented my hunting macro perfectly. Kudos!
